Paedogeddon Brass Eye response
why do these people trust all the things that were given for them to read to the camera? how could they believe in these things so damn easily? have we lost our ability to think rationally and respond in a more 'intelligent' way? from the silly but real Brass Eye video documentaries, some of the people who were asked to 'read' what they think as 'real' Noel Edmonds, Bruno Brookes, David Amess, Jimmy Greaves which i learnt later that they're a well-known group of people. has mindsets rule over our intelligence to differ between truth and lies or jokes? were we sort of 'blinded' by the whole media coverage and the majority of the population's perception and opinion? do people want the expected? i feel that in this case, the word paedophilia has a negative connotation and thus we expect a negative coverage or response when we watch, read or hear something about paedophilia. but that doesn’t mean we have to believe EVERYTHING that are put towards us. there are lots of illogical things that are very much impossible to happen mentioned throughout the 3 part clips (such as – a child’s online game with a camera placed as the eyes of the dog (the character on the online game), the gloves that can be used by the pedophile to ‘physically’ molest the child’s body parts in front of the computer if pressed against the screen, it was claimed that Singapore has come up with a solution to this problem by creating ‘an implant – a size of a cashew nut – in his rectum – these devices are triggered by the sound of children’s voices’ and it will expand into a size of a colour television set, a game called HOECS (Hidden Online Entrapment Control System)(spell: hoax)) - yet these well known people whom we thought are way more intelligent than that really actually believe in those things. this is purely a joke. these people, who read the texts that they were told to read are making fools of themselves. why? because of their so called ‘criticality’. they are not critical about what they said – yet they’re so critical about pedophilia.
paedogeddon brass eye shows exactly what’s happening in the society. this documentary contains lots of absurd examples. the question that was asked was ‘dear sir, i’m a pedophile, please can i have sex with this 3 year old girl now that she’s 21?’ their responses were ‘no way’ and ‘you should be in a mental asylum’. if they're really critical in categorising pedophiles or labeling people as pedophiles, why can't they judge more critically before they categorise/label people?
if they make a big fuss of someone old 'touching' little kids there are lots of other somewhat called 'pedophillia' actions or i would say 'inappropriate' graphics and signs.

instead of isolating them - why can't we reach them and be more understanding towards them? and really learn what is really going on in a pedophile's life. is it a mental health or it's just because one's perversion? who do we have to blame for this societal issue? pedophiles can be anyone and it creates the outrage paranoia among the society. who can live that way? i must agree that the feeling of security in a living environment is very important, but how can we create security if we - endlessly - being paranoid and overprotective simply because we don't want to take any risk of having something bad happen to us?
