society research.

i was originally assigned to cover the society research - so i think i should put my current research plan on the topic - just for the sake of documenting it. i haven't put that much media and knowledge/education roles or influencees for i might gone too far with it and might end up writing about what other people in my group should be writing about - but i did touch upon those aspects just briefly (because we still have to maintain the relationships between the 3 topics and the issue).

SOCIETY

* how do knowledge and media influence the society?
>> access
>> choices
>> opinions
>> thoughts
>> decision of making actions or not

* different generations
>> created mind sets
--- what kind of aspects in our lives that set our minds?

>> beliefs

>> lifestyle/life conditions
--- accessibility to education and media)

>> social influences
--- what was happening in the past and present?
--- were there any wars/revolutions/trends?

>> variety of choices and opportunity to choose
--- was every decision made by a bunch of people who have the power to control over the society?

* society evolution
--- how they think and respond to both the global warming issue and the media coverage in the past and present?
--- did a lot of people choose environmental studies in the past? how was it compare to the present society?
--- democracy and freedom of speech?
--- have they become more critical as the amount of knowledge and media increases upon global warming?

* looking at a global global warming issue (or issues) such as
- George W. Bush's global warming denial. quote: "Global warming is just hot air."
--- America is a first world country - and obviously Bush is it's president
--- how the society responded to it; taking on the account of his precidency role - someone to look up to?
--- why did he say that?
--- is there anything to do with his lack of knowledge or is it just one of his intentional schemes?
--- was he actually using the media to attain his 'own benefits' - distracting the society with other issues?
